Welcome to Michiana Motel

Michiana Motel, nestled in the heart of Bradenton, Florida, offers travelers an unpretentious stay marked by genuine human connection and essential comforts. With a moderate rating of 3.3, this motel does not claim luxury but shines in its warm, grounded atmosphere. Guests often highlight the kindness found within its walls—none more so than the on-site cleaning staff, whose thoughtful care becomes a memorable part of a guest’s experience. This human touch offers a rare authenticity many modern hotels lack.

The rooms, recently renovated, provide a quiet retreat from the city’s bustle. Soundproofed against street noise, they ensure restfulness—something critically valued by weary travelers. Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi support the basics of a comfortable stay, while the clean pool invites guests to unwind under the Florida sun. These amenities, though simple, meet the practical needs of travelers seeking both recreation and relaxation.

However, the motel is not without its idiosyncrasies. Some guests found service inconsistent, reflecting a gap between professional management and varied employee interactions. Additionally, the absence of a restaurant, pet accommodations, and airport shuttle means this is a destination for those who prioritize straightforward lodging over full-service hotel experiences.

Surrounded by Bradenton’s offerings for sightseeing and recreation, Michiana Motel serves well as a base for exploration. It caters to visitors who appreciate honest hospitality and a quiet place to rest after a day of adventure. While it may not rival upscale resorts, its blend of sincere service, calm rooms, and value invites travelers to experience Bradenton from a grounded perspective.

In the end, Michiana Motel feels less like a generic stopover and more like a modest refuge, where small acts of kindness and simple comforts create a lasting impression. It reminds us that sometimes, a hotel’s true value lies not in opulence but in the warmth of its people and the quiet it offers to those seeking pause.

The cleaning lady is amazing and went out of her way to get me anything I needed and was just a wonderful human being in general. She lives on site. Worth the stay just to talk with her. One of the kindest people I've ever met. I was in a very tough spot at the time and she was a literal helpful Ray of sunshine.

I stayed there for a week. And the owners of the Motel. Are very respectful and professional. Employees on the other hand, are the exact opposite. When I had only been there one day. The (manager) glorified house keeper. Asked Me .(Don't take wrong, can I have a hit?) I at that time, did not find out. What this slang word (hit). Ment at the time. But I was correct in assuming. It wasn't an elbow to the face. After the very odd question. I replied don't know and don't have any.She then asked (Could you tip me atleast)? I was so disgusted, just have her ten bucks. Every single day I was there. She asked me for money. And If I did not comply. She would be very rude. Bullying. Lack of better word..... Then there's the "friendly" constant. Knocking on my room door. That was not the employees nor owners. It was the drug dealers, loyal customers. Knocking on wrong room. Not just loud knocking, it was banging on Windows and obnoxious yelling. Ok my rant is over. I will finish this rating with this. The room, clean, the rate for stay per night. Good. Is it worth it? No!!!!!

One of the best things to see in Bradenton Fl The best part of this 4 star hotel is the Olympic size pool 3 diving boards and a 100ft high drive platform. I'd love to see the show where the management doesn't double triple landy off the 100ft diving platform into about 3ft of water. great times

Absolutely Loved it!!!!!! The cockroaches gave it a great sparkle on the decor. The bathrooms were perfect for brushing teeth and taking 100 showers. Let me not forget the beds. OMG! AMAZING SLEEP I EVER HAD

The rooms had recently been renovated. With the air conditioning on, I couldn't here anything going on outside my room. No traffic noise or noises from the parking lot. The rates were reasonable during peak season. I stayed during March. However, No ESPN!! My only complaint would be the lack of basic cable channels. They even sprayed the rooms and property for bugs. The pool was clean and the Staff was more than kind every day.
